Privacy policy
What we collect, and what we do with it.
The short version: we only collect what you type into our contact form, we only use it to reply to you and do the work you ask for, and we never sell it.
Who we are
ITpublisher is a small web design studio run by Elizbeta Dimoska, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. Elizbeta is the person responsible for your information. You can reach her by phone or text at +1 (647) 562-3854.
What we collect
When you send the contact form we receive:
- Your name and your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it
- The package and hosting option you are interested in
- Anything you write in the message box
If you call or text us, we will have your phone number and whatever you tell us. If you become a client we also keep what we need to build and run your site: the text and photos you send us, your domain name details and a record of your payments.
We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are made by Interac e-Transfer or through PayPal, and your bank or PayPal handles those details, not us.
What we use it for
- To reply to your request and build your free sample homepage
- To build, launch, host and update your website if you become a client
- To send invoices and keep the business records the law requires
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not sell, rent or trade your information with anyone.
Who else sees it
Only the companies we need in order to do the work:
- Our web hosting and email provider, which stores this website and the messages sent through it. Its servers may be outside Canada, so your information may be stored or processed in another country.
- A domain registrar, if we register a domain name for you
- PayPal or your bank, if you pay us through them
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use analytics. The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
If you ask for a mockup and do not become a client, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your information while we work together and for as long afterwards as tax and business record rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Call or text +1 (647) 562-3854 and we will sort it out within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handle a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
